BHSI Curo Apprentices

SpeakerPosterLab

The BHSI is pleased to have an outstanding and well recognized undergraduate research opportunity program such as the Center for Undergraduate Research Opportunities (CURO) in place at the University of Georgia. Each year through CURO, the BHSI funds five undergraduate scholarships of $1,000 per semester. The students are identified by CURO to participate in the apprenticeship program, which gives them the opportunity to undertake biomedical research under the guidance of a BHSI member. As a part of their program, the students participate in a "pre-med/pre-professional" day organized by the Medical College of Georgia
