My research is broadly in Native American Studies. As both a lawyer and a PhD, law and policy is a major part of my work. Federal law, including law and policy relating to public health, is an important and very timely topic in Indian Country today. I am particularly interested in how culture affects and determines health, health policy, and healthcare issues.
